The Regional Vice President of Sales position will oversee a team of Client Executives (Outside Sales Representatives) and will provide strategic and operational direction to that team. This role is responsible for developing sales goals for direct reports and ensuring these sales goals and forecasts meet organizational objectives.


•Develop and achieve sales goals and objectives including sales volume, cost of sales, and product profitability to ensure consistency with organization’s long-range strategic objectives.
•Serve as the second tier support throughout the sales cycle including creation, presentation, and review of Client Business Plan.
•Manage all relevant sales support or professional service activities to maximize sales revenues.
•Research and develop lists of potential clients in addition to the efforts of Client Executives.
•Assist in the efforts of the Sales Trainer to ensure effective training programs are developed and implemented.
•Maintains an up-to-date understanding of healthcare information technology industry trends and other technical developments that impact target markets.
•Collaborate with Marketing and Executives to develop pricing and sales strategies.
•Build relationships throughout the industry to lead to potential sales.
•Oversee the identification of key account business and IT needs to ensure appropriate pre-sales technical services are in place to meet those needs.
•Act as the orchestrator throughout the sales process to ensure transition from sales to services is smooth and completed in a timely fashion
Qualifications: Required Skills

•Knowledge of sales and marketing including a wide variety of selling principles and methods in order to promote, demonstrate, and sell solutions as well as acting as a sales expert for the team.
•Knowledge of customer service in order to conduct needs assessments and evaluate customer satisfaction.
•Knowledge of technology and software in order to understand how the SIS solution fits into the competitive landscape and to demonstrate appropriately.
•Skill in managing and mentoring a team of Sales Executives with a wide range of experience levels.
•Skill in communication of all forms including verbal, written, and listening.
•Skill in social perception in order to be aware of others’ reactions and how to navigate those reactions.
•Skill in service orientation in order to always be looking for ways to provide helpful solutions.
•Skill in entrepreneurial spirit.
•Skill in leadership to help inspire, direct, and drive direct reports to achieve sales goals.
•Skill in creativity and original thought to drive innovation and meeting challenges with resources.
•Ability to listen, write, type, speak, and express oneself verbally and through written word.
•Ability to reason, both deductive and inductive.
•Ability to effectively manage one’s time while working on multiple projects.
Required Experience

•5+ years of successful experience in Hospital-based clinical solution selling. Perioperative experience is preferred.
•Successful experience leading and directly managing at least 3+ direct reports in sales
•Available for 50-75% travel
•Must reside West of Denver CO in a major city near a major airport within the geographical territory


Bachelor’s degree preferred.
